Role Overview:

A360 is hiring a Client Partner Sales Director to expand our reach with Salesforce teams across the country, generate business at new accounts, and grow existing clients in its Retail & Consumer Goods practice that focuses across the Enterprise/Strat segments.

About you:

  • You are obsessed with Retail & Consumer Goods, and put yourself in the shoes of the consumers, from apparel to grocery to large ecommerce players, you are always looking for ways to learn more and immerse yourself in the industry
  • You believe the best way to sell is to speak the language of your customer, bring value and build solutions to their most complex problems
  • You have spent 5+ years in services sales and/or channel partner sales, you get the “three legged stool” and know the ins and outs of what this partnership model requires
  • Experience working in or selling to the Retail industry
  • You are in it to win, we are looking to do BIG things and are enabling our sales team to do the same!
  • Demonstrated success helping clients make sense of what they’re investing in, using a creative and innovative approach
  • You are the true quarterback on your deal, managing each engagement pulling players in and making calls. If you are on the field, you are making things happen.
  • You can make the complex feel simple with your communication style, no need to persuade, you educate and get buy-in as a part of your client engagement.
  • You know the methodology, MEDDPIC, Miller Heiman, GAP Selling, but you also know it is all about relationships and building trust while proving value
  • You will hop on a plane to get the deal done, and have the ability to travel as needed (approximately 30%)
  • You thrive in a high energy and fast paced startup environment
  • You always have a sense of urgency with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • You have 3+ years of experience working for Salesforce or a Salesforce partner

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulating, nurturing, and driving relationships with Salesforce Account Executives and RVP’s and other key partners to build pipeline, collaboratively run deal cycles and close business with new clients
  • Identifying and developing key client acquisition strategies for specific prospects and market segments while working closely with our practice leaders
  • Developing, strategizing, and executing pursuit and account plans in collaboration with the A360 teams
  • Creating a compelling vision and clearly communicating and educating prospects and clients on the value of the Salesforce platform and our point of view on how it applies to their business needs
  • Partnering with our Solution Architects and Subvertical Leads to transform the client’s needs into a defined solution and scope that clearly outlines benefits, objectives and goals, and provides the client a roadmap for meeting their goals
  • Building relationships and trust with Clients, Prospects, Salesforce and A360 team members
  • Handles objection with tact and thinks creatively to overcome obstacles
  • Owning the entire sales process end to end including creating and managing approach/discussion documents, statements of work, and contracts
  • Forecast accurately and timely, build a pipeline and progress opportunities while aligning with project teams for staffing needs
  • Form a strong relationship with the project team leaders that are instrumental to our client’s success
  • Be a recognized role model for collaboration across A360 and Salesforce

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience selling software and/or services in the technology space
  • 3-5 years of sales experience within Retail and Consumer Goods or a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem
  • Ability to network, communicate, bring value and build lasting relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Salesforce software or services sales role
  • Proven success rate at levels above quota
  • Ability to travel as needed to SF events, customer on-sites, and conferences
